Picked up the birds at the butcher and started making the stuffing today. Oh, this is going to be good.

Next Thursday and Friday will mark either the beginning of a grand tradition, or the anniversary of a grand tragedy. Either way, it’s gonna be hella fun.

Scrawled ominously on the pot-luck signup sheet for our staff christmas party is the word, “Turducken.” For the uninitiated, a Turducken is a Turkey stuffed with a Duck stuffed with a Chicken. The three birds are de-boned and wrapped one inside the other with alternating layers of three types of stuffing. With the stuffing complete and the turkey sewn and tied shut, all the legs from the three birds are sewn to the outside, making one great, unholy, 6-legged FrankenBird.

Needless to say, the coworkers are nervous.
