Election 2000 – the Canadian Edition – The leaders’ debates are coming up on Thursday, and I’m getting that sick feeling again. I hate these things. It just seems that whenever I watch them, I just get pissed off – having to sit there and watch Chretien bungle his way through it, barely making any sense at all, and still he comes out on top. When are we going to get ourselves a leader we can understand? or trust? We all know how good the Liberal’s campaign promises are – is it any surprise that with the election call, they’ve finally hinted at some tax cuts? Does anyone really believe they’ll follow through? Are Canadians so afraid of change that they’d rather take it up the ass from the Liberals for another 4 years? Sadly, probably, yes.
